Open Water Scuba Diver Lessons

If you've  decided to get Scuba certified while traveling. Then take our Open Water Scuba Diver referral course. Why waste time on vacation? Our Scuba referral course allows you to complete your  lessons and training locally and finish your certification dives anywhere in the world.
Here’s what you need to know.
Becoming a certified diver has three steps: (see below)

Step one: Scuba Edu. through eLearning
Step two: Skills development in the pool
Step three: Referral certification dives on your trip.

How it works

Sign up for our Beginner Scuba lessons. We will provide you access to online training and send you a code to start the Open Water Scuba Diver course and master all the important academic information online. You can complete this phase through self-study, at your own pace, in the convenience of your home or office. All eLearning courses work on mobile and tablet devices too.
We will also select the starting date for your in-water pool sessions. Depending on how comfortable you are in the water, it usually takes four pool session to prepare you for the Open-Water certification dives. Currently pool sessions are run on Saturday afternoons, Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings. You will be given a set schedule to attend, usually once or twice a week depending on the schedule.

Note, pool days and times are seasonal and subject to change.

Once you have completed your online and pool training, we can processes your paperwork, put together a referral folder of your training records, and we even take care of your SDI diver registration fee.


After you have completed your four open water dives, you are a certified diver! If you have any difficulties with the process, we will be there to help you through the process. Please note that the destination dive center collects a fee for the open water dives you need for completing your certification. We will be here for all your equipment and service needs once you are certified as well!

eLearning, pool sessions and certification dives

The Full Open Water Scuba Diver course includes three parts: eLearning, pool sessions, and Four Open Water certification dives. Online eLearning covers the principles, concepts and terms you need to know for dive safety and enjoyment. During the pool sessions, you learn and practice scuba skills every diver should know. You’ll enjoy practicing skills in the pool, which take you through some of the same skill you'll use in the open water dives. To complete the certification process, you will complete four Open Water Dives at a local dive site, or on one of our group dive trips.

Full certification course
