Scubility© is a program designed to certify disabled people who wish to become scuba divers.

“This program allows us to offer our very popular open-water programs to groups or individuals that can benefit greatly from the underwater experience,”  The Scubility© program has been structured to be used in conjunction with existing SDI open water text. This means that an SDI instructor interested in working with challenged divers, can upgrade as a Scubility© instructor very simply by learning specifically how to best meet the particular needs of this new group of potential divers. The basics of diving and the student materials are exactly the same as they have been teaching their whole SDI careers.”

 Materials in the Scubility© program address disabilities such as; amputations, asthma, cerebral palsy, hearing disorders, muscular dystrophy, sight impairment, and many more. The divers will study using the easy to read format of the SDI Open Water Diver manual and a Scubility© instructor guide (SKU 220200) has been written to help the instructor match the course to the divers’ abilities.
