August 21st, 2010Congratulations go out to Pawel K., Steve G., and Joe C. for successfully completing their SOLO DIVER certification! Instructor Trainer and SOLO DIVER Instructor Jim W. led the 3rd and 4th dives on the Sea Lion in Brielle, NJ. 1.877.ScubaUSA Staff Member Kyle W. joined us for the dives and provided moral and surface support to the SOLO DIVER students.

Saturday, June 5th, 2010 1.877.Scuba USA “Solo Divers” explore wreck siteA group of SDI “Solo Diver” students embarked and successfully completed the first two of four dives to achieve their “Solo” diver certifications. The Many hours of dive planning and skills reinforcement paid off with successful completion of the dives. The group consisting of Steve G, Pawel K, and Joe C, departed from Brielle, NJ aboard the Tuna Seazure for an afternoon of dives. It was a beautiful day and the seas were very accommodating. Water temps were in the low 50’s and visibility was 10 to 20 feet on the bottom. These Divers have been working hard developing the skills required to successfully plan and execute solo dives. Congrats...you're ˝ way there! Kelley S. and Andrew S. joined us on the dive for moral support and to enjoy a day of diving in the Atlantic ocean for themselves. July 17th, 2009 Jim and Phil have have achieved the highest level of training available in the DAN Instructional System, "DAN Instructor Trainers". DAN Instructor Trainers are the only individuals certified to train DAN Instructors as part of the DAN Instructor Qualification Course.
July 12, 2009 ERDi approves "Rescue Swimmer" Ops Component. This program is designed to support almost any Public Safety Surface or Underwater Operation. This course was written by Jim and now can only be taught through the ERDi program at 1.877.SCUBA.USA and is internationally recognized.
